Pre-teens Page
Kids love competition. You can turn this competitive spirit into a positive thing by creating your own family record book. For instance, ours is "The Incredible Hansen Family's Book of Unbelievable Records."
Start with a notebook where family members can record their exploits. Make a page for each event with a place to record the date, the record, and a witness's signature. Other family members may then compete and record their own scores. Children may want to illustrate the page or add a photograph of the event.
Here are some possible events. Each family member can hold the record for some event. You might have to help the youngest family members discover their talents. This is just one way to help your children. To order Judy's books and pamphlets about allowances, gang prevention, and fun dates, click on |order| below.
