The police have a motto of protect and serve. Well I think they need to
start protecting and serving. These recent shootings are proof that they
feel they can do whatever they want and get away with it.
It seems to me the inconsistencies in the Rodney Page trial should have been
enough to free the man. Time and time again the officer changed his story
about the incident and yet his testimony convicted him. Why are they allowed
to get away with this type of behavior? And we wonder why our children are
out there committing crimes? And of those crimes how much of the officers
statements are true to begin with. We have a Narcotics Detective currently
on the force who was demoted to a patrol Sargent for falsifying police
documents (which is a felony punishable up to 14 years in prison) and how do
you suppose he got there. Not by trail oh no...by slap on the hand and a
broom sweeping it under the rug. Too bad Rodney couldn't of had the luxury.
