Spenc and Lisa had a chance to display their new sign they got from Media Research in Boise (208) 383-1000
It was a beautiful evening as everyone
prepared for the nights entertainment.
Lisa and Mary had much to talk about as they waited for Spenc to begin the concert.
Mary wonders what the heck am I doing when I'm supposed to be helping set up. We brought red light bulbs to see by so as not to disturb the star gazers night vision. They say it takes 30 minutes for your eyes to completely return to full night capabilities after looking into white light.
Spenc played from about 9:00pm to a little after midnight. The music was wonderful as always and Spenc took the time to autograph the CD's and thank everyone who bought one.
Sunday morning Channel 6 drove to the Dunes and interviewed Spenc. Spenc, Lisa(his wife) and their kids had camped out in the State Park near the dunes, after the concert the night before. Claudia Weatherman, the news reporter asked Spenc about his interest in the sand dunes and how the dunes had inspired him to write some of the music that is on his recent CD release Ancient Oasis. The feature was aired Sunday afternoon. Spenc was also the Home town Hero on channel 6 just several nights before. Claudia interviewed him at Pro-Media, in Boise, where he produced the CD. It was great fun to see him in the studio and watch him play as we all watched and listened in wonderment as an orchestra of sound marinated out of his keyboard.
